Before motherhood, you enjoyed being a productive, independent working woman. You felt in control. Then, you became a mother, and it came as a huge shock to the system. As a strong, capable woman, you thought you'd handle it, but nobody and nothing prepared you for it. Motherhood shook your foundations to the core.

Whether you are a new mother or an experienced one, you feel that you have been losing yourself and sacrificing yourself and what matters to you.  You are still a strong and capable woman and you want to continue doing work that is meaningful and fulfilling to you, but it's not how you imagined it would be. And you feel stuck, angry, invisible, overwhelmed and resentful.

You may never have heard of it. You may have been told you are depressed, though you may not feel depressed. What you have been going through is called matrescence, a deep transformation that comes with motherhood and that  impacts every aspect of a mother's life. It is often unacknowledged and mistaken for depression or for being a bad mother.

Coaching involves education and understanding, a deep dive into self discovery and self-awareness, reflection and  deliberate and focused action.

1:1 coaching is tailored to your specific situation and will help you to:

  • Get clear on who you are now, what you value as a woman and mother, what you truly want out of life, motherhood and a career
  • Overcome the limiting beliefs and behaviours that keep you stuck, ditch perfectionism and overwhelm and help you to take control of your thinking 
  • Overcome anger, guilt and anxiety
  • Know your worth by clarifying your skills, strengths, passions and priorities so you can define your way forward professionally
  • Redefine what success means to you in motherhood and beyond  
  • Ensure boundaries are created and followed through and your needs are met so you can beat the overwhelm, boost your energy and move forward with flow ​
What's included?
  • A tailored roadmap that focuses on your specific blocks, needs and goals. This is not a cookie cutter approach. Instead, we work with where you are at and what you specifically need help with. 
  • 1 x 90 minute kick-off session (online or on the phone) 
  • 5 x 1 hour sessions to be held within 6 to 12 weeks. 
  • Tailored coaching tools, hypnosis recordings, visualisations, meditations, guides and mindfulness practices, as and when required
  • Targeted activities to help you to get the most out of this program
  • Agreed action plan, activities and focused exercises so you can move forward and be accountable to yourself
