Dr Fabienne (Ph.D) is a psychotherapist, hypnotherapist, social scientist, a
matrescence and motherhood advocate and a mother, with a multidisciplinary Ph.D in sociology, linguistics and psychology.
She is the founder of So Much More Than A Mother, a program that helps career-driven and working mothers who feel trapped, unfulfilled, invisible and like they’ve lost themselves to get out of survival mode and the maternal rollercoaster of emotions so they can navigate career and motherhood on their own terms.
She uses a mix of psychotherapy approaches, neuroscience, sociology, linguistics, counselling, CBT, ACT, NLP, clinical hypnosis, 3 Principles, trauma-informed therapy, amongst others, combined with an understanding of how we develop habits of feeling, thinking and behaviour and how societal norms and rules shape or thinking, feeling, behaviour and our identity.
Through 1:1 work and group programs, she helps new and experienced women and mothers who are stuck in unhealthy and unwanted patterns to break free from anxiety, depression, trauma and emotional blocks so they can enjoy life again.
She truly believes that you are NOT broken and you do not need fixing. You are simply stuck in an unhealthy conditioning that can be undone, if you know how it operates.
With extensive training in a range of approaches. Dr Fabienne tailors her approach and programs to her clients' needs.
She focuses on helping you to understand what is really happening, how you got stuck in your own unhealthy patterns through no fault of your own, removing the emotional blockages that are at the root of the negative behaviours.
She does not believe in talking endlessly about the past, which only serves to keep you stuck there.
Her aim is to help you to regain control, freedom and peace of mind and equip you with the tools you need to go forward rapidly, safely and easily.
Having found her own foundations and identity shaken when she became a mother, she brings her background in research, science and education to therapy and coaching to help women and mothers feel fulfilled, seen and supported so they can navigate career and motherhood on their own terms.
