 'Doing it all' and 'having it all'  as a working mother often comes with living in survival mode, feeling overwhelmed, burnt out, angry, resentful and invisible. Yet, you put a brave face on it and pretend to be coping and be happy at all times (except when you lose your temper, which may happen more and more often). In  reality, you feel that you are losing yourself and sacrificing yourself and what matters to you! 

Before motherhood, you had a successful and fulfilling career. Then, you became a mother, and it may have come as a huge shock to the system. As a strong, capable woman, you thought you'd handle it, but,  no-one and nothing prepared you for it. Motherhood shook your foundations to the core. 

Whether you are a new mother or an experienced one, you feel that something isn't right.  This is not how it was meant to be. You are trying to keep so many plates spinning at once.
